Calcarenite ("Kurkar") cliffs, which accompany the Israeli coast line, are subject to continnuous denudation by the forces of erosion from the sea (winter storms and wave propagation) which results in cliff shapes (cliff height and slope), allowing gravitational sliding of vertical sections of the cliff.
