The Seismology Laboratory consists of two components:
A computer center with processing and analysis seismic software, used for signal processing, seismic database archiving, and advanced research in the field of Earthquake Seismology.
Data acquisition and seismic station deployment for specific research projects.
Types of analyses:
Detection and location of seismic events
Ground Motion Prediction Equations (GMPEs)
Calibration of seismic events
Seismic noise analysis
Cross-Correlation of Geophysical signals
