  • Burial, transport, residence time and preservation of organic C in coastal, lacustrine and rivers sediments.
  • Modeling of biogeochemical processes of water rock interactions.

2007-2009 postdoctoral Fellow, Purdue University, Department of earth and atmospheric sciences.  Constraints on the dynamics of the coastal ocean - organic carbon feedback through the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) using the speciation of carbon (into physically separable pools) to determine the composition, origin, and burial dynamics.
